The brand new Tower of Terror as seen from a Disney Steamer...our first ride of the day. Keelin loved the boat.

The first place we went after riding the steamer, and confirming that yes, Keelin too damn short to ride any of the fun rides (though she did get a ticket that will speed her to the front of the line for Indiana Jones once she reaches the height limit!), we went to Agrabah.

She got to ride the genie on a carousel. The was her first test in waiting in line. She didn't quite get it at first, she wanted to just run to the front of the line (don't we all!), but by the end of the day she understood.

And then we got to see Ariel! I was very surprised when we walked into the little "cave" and I heard "Well hello there pretty princess!" Our Ariel wasn't Japanese! She gave Keelin a kiss that left such a mark I'm wondering how she could speak at all with all that lipstick on. (This is the only picture of me.)

After we met Ariel we went "under the sea," as Keelin called it, to Triton's Kingdom--the indoor, little kid area of the park. We rode the Blowfish Balloon Race and then we got calzones to eat, the only thing on the menu that wasn't seafood. (I keep thinking of Lilo, "It's fish! If I gave Pudge tuna, I'd be an abomination!")

We were waiting in line for the Blowfish Balloon Race again. Here you can see the smudge on Keelin's face that was a kiss for about a millisecond before she wiped it. So that's why I don't have a picture of the kiss, okay?

Here we are in Ariel's Playground. This is part of a sunken ship. Isn't that little Japanese girl cute?

Keelin steered the sunken ship...

...and looked through the telescope-ish thing. What are those called? She also rang the bell but that picture didn't turn out.

And then we went exploring through the Fishermen's Nets.

The view of the Kelp Maze portion of Ariel's Playground from the Fishermen's Nets. Well, kind of. Great themeing, isn't it?

Next we went exploring in another portion of a sunken ship.

"Look out! Shark! Run, Mommy, run!" We did that for about ten minutes.

I only told her to climb on the statue of Eric, not to pose like him.

Playing around some more in Ariel's Cavern. You can see some of the stuff in the background, too.

I didn't know this until Keelin looked at these pictures with me this morning, but she was looking for me here! Haha. Poor Keelin. And I thought she was just playing and playing in the water.

On the Jumpin' Jellyfish ride. The jellyfish just go up and down. Very exciting for a three-year-old.

But you do get a good view of Triton's Kingdom.

Keelin climbing on a rock formation before she was told to get off.

Keelin wanted me to take this picture. This was right after we watched the Treasures of Agrabah show, which I foolishly thought might have Aladdin and Jasmine in it. Keelin was very disappointed that she didn't get to see them. That popcorn is black pepper popcorn. It was spicy, though she handled it better than me. She ate pretty much the whole thing; she begged for water the entire time, but she never stopped eating!
They had the black pepper popcorn, caramel corn (of course), chocolate popcorn, even strawberry popcorn! (Actually, I'm not sure which is weirder, chocolate or strawberry.) It took forever to find regular popcorn. Anyway...
After that we went to Mysterious Island where we rode 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
And then we visited Port Discovery where I failed to get any good pictures. (The ones below are from the DisneySea website) We rode Aquatopia and StormRider.

I thought for certain StormRider would scare her out of her wits, and she did cuddle in to me for a small bit of it, but when it was over she said, "Let's watch that movie again!" Hahaha. We did end up watching it again later in the day. Because she's such a damn shortie, it was one of the most exciting things I got to ride yesterday.

After Port Discovery, we went back to Mysterious Island where she led the way through Fortress Explorations. We moved planets, watched a pendulum swing, and she tried to work the flying machine.

Then we explored a big ship. She decided to relax for a minute in a pirate bed. I did a very bad job Photoshopping out some distracting fire alarms.

We also got in a little boat where she did some more posing for me.

Then we headed back over to Mermaid Lagoon where we rode Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster. I wasn't sure how she'd do, but she raised her hands and squealed the whole way. I think we rode that thing over five times. (Again, I didn't get a picture so this is thanks to Disney.)

She wanted to go back "under the sea" then, so we went. I got some so-so pictures of the area on our way down.

This was on our way out. She's plugging her nose because she's under water.

Keelin and Triton.

The last picture I took from our last ride of the night: Scuttle's Scooters. I wanted to get a view of Atlantica at night. It's a little blurry though. :(
